Welcome to the Tennessee Bowhunters Society web site!

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting our bowhunting heritage in this state. We support a number of programs including International Bowhunter Education, quality deer management, etc.

Our organization was founded by concerned sportsman who felt that hunters voices were not being heard or taken seriously at the state level. Our earnest desire is to improve the quality of our states deer herd thus providing quality hunting experiences. We also strive to increase hunting oppurtunities where biologically sound.

We will strive to keep you informed of issues that concern you, the bowhunter. Please feel free to contact us with news or views that may be of interest to bowhunting.

Please be patient as we try to build our site with tools to interest you. We will have a trophy profile on our members page so we encourage you to send your photos in jpeg format so we can add them. We will try to keep them as up to date as possible. Plus we have a talented bowtech in our midst who will answer as many tech questions as possible. We may even have a tip page for you to share your tips for success.

Individually, we accomplish little, but as a whole we become a more powerful and respected voice. We would encourage you to join us in our work. The TBS supports a number of programs that you may or maynot be aware of. We allocate $1.00 from every membership to the Hunters For The Hungry program. We also support, as well as provide, International Bowhunter Education. Part of your dues, of course goes to your subscription to Tennessee Valley Outdoors. We are also sponsors of the Physically Challenged Bowhunters of America. The remainder goes toward mailings and other administration fees. We earnestly hope that you can support us in these endeavors.
